Passenger traffic at Anapa airport grew by 10% in 2020

For 12 months of 2020, Anapa International Airport served 1,813,347 passengers, which is 10% more than in the same period in 2019, when the passenger traffic was 1,644,000 people.

In August, Anapa airport became one of the first in Russia to recover and exceed 2019 passenger traffic figures after the pandemic.

Due to the restrictive measures during the pandemic and the inability to perform international flights, airlines began to actively develop their flight program to the Black Sea coast, including Anapa. Since July, Rossiya Airlines and Nordwind Airlines have included destinations from 14 Russian cities in the flight schedule. In this regard, in the second half of the summer, the airport operated under conditions of record passenger traffic. In just three summer months, the airport's passenger traffic amounted to 1,115,629 passengers, which is 19% more than in the summer of 2019.

In 2020, 1,811,835 people (+ 11%) used airline services on domestic routes, and 1,512 on international routes (evacuation flights).

The number of flight departures during the reporting period amounted to 7,446 operations, which is 3% more than in the same period in 2019.

The volume of processed cargo and mail totaled more than 1,208 tons (+ 43% compared to the last year).

The most popular destinations from Anapa in 2020 were Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk and Ufa.

Flights of Rossiya Airlines to St. Petersburg were included in the autumn-winter schedule of Anapa airport for the first time.
